ADOPT a leopard
Adopt a Leopard
From just $30.00 a year you can adopt an Ingwe Research Leopard.
Your money will help PAW Conservation Trust to fund the Ingwe Leopard
Research team in safeguarding the future of free roaming predators. We
aim to tackle illegal hunting and establish a protected area for the
leopards, by working with landowners and the local community.

You will receive
  • A fact booklet about your adopted leopard
  • A photograph of your adopted leopard
  • Updates on your leopard in the Ingwe 4-monthly newsletter called
    Ingwe Now
  • A sponsorship certificate

Animal adoptions can make wonderful ethical gifts so why not treat a
friend or family member to one of the wonderful Ingwe adoption packs
and be safe in the knowledge that you have contributed towards helping
the African leopards to survive.
How are you helping Ingwe Research Leopards?

Our focus will be on two mature female leopards (Grace and
Diamond) who we know very well.
Both have cubs that are expected to leave home in 2012 as
they reach sub-adulthood.
It is at this point where these young cubs will be under the
greatest threat.
They will naturally leave our current protected zone and roam
across the neighbouring cattle and livestock farms.
Danger lies in some of these areas, where not everyone is
sympathetic to the presence of leopards.
They are at risk of being poisoned, shot and snared, but with
your help we can significantly reduce the risk.
We want to work with the landowners, not to preach, but to
establish methods for both humans and leopards to live in
harmony.
